A new VAS camera has been installed at the crossroads of B6165 / Pye Lane & Clint Bank in the hope of deterring speeding through the village, to accompany the new speed limit reduction to 40mph.

This camera has a data recording feature and will also help gather information about traffic passing through the village. It can also be used in both directions.

The camera has been funded by Clint-Cum-Hamlets Parish Council, some very kind private donations from local residents and a grant from North Yorkshire Council, via our Councillor, Mrs Felicity Cunliffe-Lister. Huge thanks to everyone that has contributed in getting the VAS sign up and running and keeping our village safe. Please drive carefully!
