New Settlement (Maltkiln) Development Plan Document

Notice of Examination Hearings Regulation 24 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012

The New Settlement (Maltkiln) Development Plan Document was submitted to the Secretary of State for Examination on 27 March 2024. It sets out a vision and policy framework to guide how the new settlement is designed and developed.

Inspector: The Secretary of State has appointed Inspector Clive Coyne, BA (Hons) DipTP MRTPI to undertake an independent Examination of the Plan and subsequently issue a report with his conclusions.

As part of the Examination, public hearing sessions will be held as follows:

Venue: Civic Centre, St Luke’s Avenue, Harrogate HG1 2AE

Dates: Tuesday 17 September until Friday 20 September 2024 and if necessary; Tuesday 24 September until Friday 27 September 2024

Times: There will be a morning and afternoon session on each day.

Morning sessions will start at 10am. Afternoon sessions will commence at 2pm.
